| Interesting about the web |
|
| An interesting perception that came to mind today regarding the web, is how it has changed our connectivity as human beings. Sixteen years ago or so, as I left high school, most of the people I would never see or hear from again. Yet today, with the internet, that isn't necessarily the case. In just the last month I have had contact with two individuals that I went to high school with, both of which I'm sure I would have never talked to again if it hadn't been for the web and it's vast array of communities that now exist. One person I found through classmates.com and the other through myspace.com. |

| Interesting trend I've noticed |
|
As a web developer and business owner I spend a lot of my work day in coffee shops plucking away at the keyboard. In the last 6 months I have noticed an interesting trend as I have spent so much time working out of coffee shops.
Often times when coming or going from a coffee shop, I'll notice someone sitting in their car leaning towards the passanger seat. Guess what their doing? I'm not sure but my guess is that they are checking email. That's right, I'll see a person leaning and then I see the laptop. Now I'm not sure what to label this trend, but something like Drive Through Internet Service comes to mind. |
