Washburn D36SDL Tahoe review
Because I get quite a few site visits as a result of posting pictures of my Washburn D36SDL Tahoe, I wanted to just say a few words about this instrument. It’s important to note that I am a complete novice on the guitar. I have never had lessons and I spend very little time playing especially in the last 4 months. However, I have picked up quite a few guitars and looked at maybe hundreds.

90.jpgThis guitar is really quite beautiful and it sounds great. I have it on display in our formal dinning room and every time I walk by it I want to play it simply because it looks so good.

Back when I first discovered this guitar, I found a link on Washburn’s web site that listed the retail at $999.00. I did some searching for a while and found it on Amazon for $675.00. Wow what a deal. I wasn’t satisfied with that price though so I kept looking. A few days later a guy listed 6 of them on eBay. He had bought them from somewhere and they were all brand new in original packaging. I got outbid on the auction I bid on and he contacted me directly and offered one to me for $389.00. I bought it and never looked back. It was a great deal.

hey, just wanted to tell you that's my old guitar, I sold it on ebay a few years ago, that's my deck and my back yard. Did you buy that from me? I didn't have 6 for sale as described in your piece above. I just showed the pics to my girlfriend and she laughed because that's the view off my back deck. Curious if you're the guy I sold it to. Glad you like it either way. thanks, todd from Cincinnati

I can't remember now where I came across those photos, but I really liked the way they displayed the Washburn. I bought my off ebay and it appeared to have never been out of the original packaging. Seemed like a pretty good deal. Let me know if you would like me to remove the photos. You must be missing the guitar if you were out searching on it :)

Hi, I was given my D36 SDL for my birthday a couple of years ago. Just like you I can't put it down. I'd love a Gibson J45 but can't afford one but, I'm sure it would play and sound just as good and no better. I run a Folk and Blues club and on the few times I've taken it with me, almost everyone plays it! I've never seen another D36sdl being played so it's good to see your comments. Good luck, Graham. An absolutely fantastic guitar in both the way it sounds - of course and the look of it. Sadly its wasted on me with my 3 chord repertoire but I'd keep it forever even if I couldn't play a note and just look at it...

Fine information, many thanks to the author. It is puzzling to me now, but in general, the usefulness and importance is overwhelming. Very much thanks again and good luck!

Playing an improperly set up or poorly intonated guitar can be an incredibly frustrating experience. By taking a few precautionary steps address these problems, however, you can save a lot of hassle down the road. Here are some maintenance tips.

I would totally agree with the other comments here. I was dubious as the price seemed cheap, and usually this type of accessory is hit or miss, but it arrived and as described it was a genuine Nokia in-car charger, worked instantly. If your after a car charger for your Nokia (with the smaller charging pin) then this is the car charger for you.
